The course has ended - What happens now?

Shropshire Partners in Care is committed to providing the highest quality training events for your people. As supervisor/line manager you have an important role in helping to make sure what has been learnt in the training room is transferred to the workplace.

To help you review one the courses below with your learners, encourage them to reflect on the key messages and most importantly transfer the new skills and knowledge to actions in the workplace, we have developed a template of questions which you can use to reinforce the key points. We recommend you carry out this review approximately 1 month following the successful completion of the course.

Research by Robert O. Brinkerhoff identified that only 15 % of what is learned during training will be applied on the job if it is not reinforced and monitored. At Shropshire Partners in Care we strive to share best practice, as part of this commitment we hope you find these templates useful.
